Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational environment near Albuquerque, NM. Your specialized skills will help children reach their communication goals in a setting that values growth, collaboration, and making a difference in young lives. You'll play an integral role in the development and success of students, partnering closely with educators, support staff, and families to deliver high-quality speech and language services. This position favors individuals who are passionate about advocating for students and eager to tailor solutions that meet a wide variety of speech and language needs.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP state licensure or eligibility for licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable Solid communication, organizational, and documentation skills Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Responsibilities:
Assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities using appropriate evaluation tools Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on evaluation results and student needs Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress throughout the school year Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and parents to support student goals and academic achievement Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development as needed Working in this role allows you to have a meaningful impact on students' daily lives and long-term success.
