A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current state SLP license is required Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly valued Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Comfort with a variety of service delivery models (remote, hybrid, in-person) Ability to organize, assess, and prioritize tasks effectively Compassionate, resourceful, and dedicated to student success
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide direct therapy and support, adapting strategies to meet each students needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to maximize student outcomes Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in team meetings Stay current with best practices and regulatory guidelines in speech-language pathology
