A welcoming school district near La Luz, NM is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or CFY) for the 2026-2027 school year. Key Qualifications:
Active NM state (NMRLD) license required by start date NMPED licensure (can be in pending status at time of hire) Experienced or clinical fellowship (CFY) SLP candidates welcome Knowledge of pediatric and school-based speech-language needs preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to students, focusing on Pre-K and school-age caseloads (age preferences are discussed in the interview and considered) Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success Why consider this opportunity?
