9643857-87544 Job Description Step into a rewarding role working onsite as a Speech-Language Pathologist, serving students in a supportive school environment. This contract position offers a full-time schedule condensed into a convenient four-day school week, providing ample opportunity for both professional fulfillment and work-life balance. Youll work closely with a manageable caseload of approximately 35 students, making a significant impact on their communication skills and educational outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active SLP license and eligibility to practice in New Mexico Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also encouraged to apply Experience or strong interest in school-based speech-language pathology Proficient in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate records Effective communication skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students onsite Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations for students referred for speech-language concerns Develop and deliver individualized education program (IEP) goals and interventions Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and district guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations for student needs This is an exceptional opportunity to deliver meaningful speech and language support, all while enjoying the flexibility of a four-day workweek.
