Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Your expertise will help students reach their fullest potential within an engaging educational setting.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations, specifically within school settings Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Role Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and implement therapy plans for students with a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs Collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other related service providers to support individualized education goals Maintain accurate records and timely progress notes according to school and legal standards Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and outcomes Provide consultative services and ongoing support to both staff and parents, empowering them to assist students outside of therapy sessions
