Job Description

Chat Speech is the area's premier private practice dedicated to providing specialized orofacial myofunctional therapy and comprehensive, family-centered care. Our patients range from infants to adults, and we pride ourselves on delivering top-notch, evidence-based treatment in a supportive and collaborative environment. We have created a network of referring providers that we work with to provide holistic care to our patients.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our busy, fast-paced practice. Our work schedule is four days a week, ten hours per day, allowing for a healthy work-life balance with a three-day weekend. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled clinician who is efficient, attentive to details, collaborative, and motivated to provide holistic care.
Responsibilities:
Provide evaluation and treatment for patients with a variety of speech, language, swallowing, and orofacial myofunctional needs. Develop individualized treatment plans and update them as clinically appropriate. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Collaborate with team members and other healthcare professionals. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to support understanding and carryover of therapy techniques. Uphold professional, ethical, and evidence-based practice standards.
Workload & Compensation:
Ideal caseload: 56-58 patient sessions per week. Guaranteed base salary of 60,000$-$65,000, depending on experience, at 45 patients per week with tiered bonus of $100-400$ per week.

Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). Experience or interest in orofacial myofunctional therapy (training opportunities provided). Strong clinical skills, time management, and attention to detail.
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM-6:30 PM (10-hour days).

The ideal candidate is an energetic, self-motivated, lifelong learner with an interest in working in an outpatient private practice. We treat infants through adulthood and will provide training and mentoring in myofunctional disorders to the right candidate. Qualified candidates must have a Speech-Language Pathology license in the state New York with their Certificate of Clinical Competence and have an interest in pursuing a career with myofunctional therapy. Candidates who have previous myofunctional therapy and/or feeding therapy experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
