Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students' communication development within a dynamic K-12 school setting! This full-time opportunity (37.5 hours per week) welcomes Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with either CCC or CFY credentials who are passionate about making a positive impact from now through the end of the school year. The caseload spans from kindergarten through high school, offering a diverse and fulfilling experience for professionals excited to work collaboratively with educators, families, and students. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure for SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility Experience working in educational settings is preferred but not required Strong organizational and communication skills Commitment to student-centered, culturally responsive practices

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for K-12 students Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support academic and social success Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development This school-based SLP position offers a chance to build meaningful relationships, advocate for students, and refine your clinical skills alongside a dedicated staff.
