Key Qualifications:

Valid NY State Speech Language Pathologist license required Active TSSLD certification ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status welcomed Background in school-based or teletherapy settings highly desirable Experience working with students K-12, particularly those with special needs Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in K-12 students Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide direct therapy services Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress Adapt and implement interventions for students with mild to severe disabilities, including autism and cognitive delays
