Responsibilities:

Evaluate and assess the communication and swallowing abilities of our residents, using evidence-based practices to develop personalized treatment plans Implement and deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services, including individual and group sessions, to address cognitive, linguistic, and swallowing deficits Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to care Monitor and record treatment progress, adjusting plans as needed to optimize outcomes Maintain accurate and detailed records of services provided, including progress notes, treatment plans, and billing documentation Participate in interprofessional education and training activities to enhance practice and promote evidence-based care About the
