May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Center for Spectrum Services is seeking dedicated, compassionate therapist to join our collaborative team for the 2026-2027 school year. Whether you are an experienced speech therapist or beginning your career , you'll receive the support, mentorship, and professional development needed to thrive. Our Speech Pathologist work with small, highly supportive classrooms alongside special educators, occupational therapists, physical therapists, behavior specialists, and teaching assistants to provide individualized, meaningful educational experiences for students with autism. This position is available in our Ellenville location or Kingston location. NYS Speech-Language Pathologist License is required. About Center for Spectrum Services Center for Spectrum Services is a nationally recognized New York State-approved special education school serving children ages 3-12 with autism throughout the Hudson Valley. For 50 years, we have provided high-quality, individualized educational and therapeutic services grounded in evidence-based practices, collaboration, and a commitment to helping every student maximize their potential.
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing speech and language therapy services in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborating with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary team members
- Maintaining documentation and progress reports
- Supporting communication and social development
- Participating in meetings, training, and professional development
Qualifications:
- NYS License in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with, or interest in, working with children on the autism spectrum(preferred) Candidates seeking Clinical Fellowships (CFY) are welcome. Excellent supervision is available to support completion of CFY requirements.
Full-Time School Year Salary:
Starting at $65,000 annually (based on experience and certification)Excellent Benefits:
