Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a speech-language pathologist working with pediatric populations in a dynamic school setting near Elmira, NY. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure (or eligibility) in New York as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows will be considered Prior experience working with school-aged children or in a pediatric setting is highly valued Strong assessment, diagnostic, and documentation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for collaborative work with students, staff, and families Adaptable and enthusiastic about working in diverse educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication screenings and assessments Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech-language services Provide direct therapy to students individually and in groups, targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social-pragmatic skills Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with all school and legal requirements Collaborate with teachers, special educators, administrators, and families to support student progress Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional input to multidisciplinary teams Offer consultative support and in-class interventions as needed This role offers professional growth, a vibrant school community, and the satisfaction of making an impact where it matters most.
