Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role working with students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, onsite contract position offers the opportunity to provide essential support to a diverse K-12 caseload, primarily focused on K-8, with a small group of high school students. You'll collaborate closely with staff and families in a supportive, educational environment.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify individual student needs Develop and implement IEP-based therapy plans for approximately 40 students, with focused support primarily for K-8 and four high schoolers Lead engaging therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups Maintain meticulous documentation on progress, attendance, and compliance Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, families, and specialists to ensure student success Offer consultation and resources to educators and parents to promote communication skills across the school setting To succeed in this role, you should have: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure (CCC or eligibility for CFY welcomed) Experience in school-based and pediatric SLP preferred Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to tailor therapy and intervention plans to diverse student needs Commitment to professional, evidence-based practice in a team environment The position runs from September 2, 2026, through June 25, 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7:40am to 3:05pm.
