Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference this summer working with students in a rewarding school-based Speech-Language Pathology role. This contract opportunity is ideal for dedicated professionals ready to support K-12 learners during Extended School Year (ESY) programming. Enjoy consistent daytime hours from 8:15 am to 2:15 pm, Monday through Thursday, from July 6th to August 14th.
Skills and Experience Desired:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP license (CCC or CFY considered) Previous experience in school or pediatric settings is strongly preferred Knowledge of assessment and therapy best practices for K-12 student populations Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and staff to develop individualized plans Strong documentation and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students participating in ESY programs Conduct assessments and contribute to the development or updating of IEPs Maintain thorough records of student progress and session activities Collaborate with teachers and school personnel to support students' educational goals Communicate progress and recommendations to families and school staff as needed Foster an encouraging and inclusive environment for students at all ability levels This is your chance to spend part of your summer in a collaborative, student-focused setting, making a tangible impact on young learners' communication skills.
