Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatric care. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in school settings near Henrietta, NY. Collaborate with educators and families to help children reach their communication goals, using your clinical expertise in speech and language assessment and therapy.
Qualifications and Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility for licensure) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience with pediatric populations, ideally within school environments Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation Exceptional communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, school staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments for preschool and school-age students Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students with diverse needs Document session notes, progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings Consult and collaborate with teaching staff and parents to support student achievement Provide support for classroom strategies that facilitate speech and language development Stay current on best practices and continue professional growth in the field
