Category Schools - SLP - Telespeech Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in school-based teletherapy, located in Herkimer, NY. This role involves providing evaluative and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, and communication challenges from September 8 through June 26.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and communication needs. Delivering individualized teletherapy sessions tailored to each student's unique goals. Collaborating with educators and support staff to monitor student progress. Maintaining thorough documentation in compliance with state and school guidelines.

Qualifications and experience required:

Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC). Valid state licensure appropriate for providing school-based speech services. Proven experience with teletherapy delivery in school settings. Strong knowledge of current speech and language assessment tools and intervention strategies. Ability to engage and motivate students through virtual platforms effectively.
