This role provides the opportunity to deliver meaningful Speech-Language Pathology services to both adult and pediatric patients across inpatient and outpatient settings. You'll play a vital role in enhancing communication, swallowing, and overall quality of life for those we serve—while growing professionally in an environment that values compassion, excellence, and continuous learning. Position Details & Schedule Full-Time Flex Position Minimum of 28 hours per week, up to 40 hours per week Greatest departmental need is Wednesday through Friday ; however, other schedules may be discussed Occasional weekend coverage required (approximately one day per month) This role supports both inpatient and outpatient services , working with adult and pediatric populations Responsibilities Provides appropriate speech-language pathology treatment services to adult and pediatric clients in inpatient and outpatient settings for whom such services are clinically indicated. Conducts diagnostic and evaluative services for clients referred for Speech-Language Pathology services and prepares comprehensive diagnostic and evaluative reports with recommendations. Maintains accurate, timely progress notes and professional documentation for all patients served. Obtains complete and relevant historical information for all clients referred for Speech-Language Pathology services. Coordinates the evaluation, scheduling, and treatment plans for clients receiving Speech-Language Therapy. Compiles, tracks, and reports accurate clinical data to support the financial, statistical, and administrative needs of the Speech-Language Pathology programs. Achieves and maintains productivity levels that meet or exceed organizational and facility standards. Prepares and maintains required time and activity records. Maintains compliance with all competency, credentialing, and regulatory requirements for practice, including but not limited to OSHA, TJC, CMS, and practitioner participation standards. This includes maintaining current licensure, required CEUs, curriculum vitae, CPR certification, TB testing, safety and equipment competencies, and—when applicable—valid automobile license and insurance. Performs duties in accordance with system-wide competencies and expected professional behaviors. Independently pursues ongoing professional growth and development aligned with the organization's mission and priorities. Participates in and presents in-service education, community education, and continuing education programs as requested. Attends and actively participates in staff meetings, staff development activities, departmental committees, and in-service education programs. Adheres to organizational policies, procedures, and mission, including the Corporate Compliance Program, Code of Conduct, and HIPAA regulations. Demonstrates accountability by reporting suspected unethical, illegal, or incompetent conduct to appropriate individuals. Maintains strict confidentiality in all aspects of patient care and professional interactions. Performs all job responsibilities and additional duties as assigned by the facility or organization. Demonstrates a positive attitude and delivers excellent customer service characterized by care, compassion, professionalism, and support for patients, families, the public, supervisors, and colleagues.
