Job Description

Make a meaningful impact by providing essential speech-language services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract opportunity offers the chance to support learners communication skills and academic growth in a vibrant school setting near Liberty, NY. You'll collaborate with a supportive educational team, tailoring therapy and interventions for a diverse caseload.
Key Qualifications:
Current New York SLP license required Prior experience working with school-aged children, especially K-12 Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Strong problem-solving and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students based on individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students speech and language needs Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure effective support and progress monitoring Maintain detailed documentation on student progress and compliance with state and federal guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight Offer consultation and resources to faculty for enhancing students communication skills within the classroom Why consider this opportunity?
