Speech Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow

Just won best Speech Company of Long Island again for 2026, holding our title from 2025 and 2023! Seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist or CF open to expanding their clinical repertoire to join my growing team of clinicians. 401k retirement included. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting sessions with clients to test their speech, language, cognitive and swallowing skills, assessing clients' needs and coordinating any additional treatment plans.

Rates shown reflect those for licensed SLP. Potential for even higher rates in hour with fee for service option per session. Weekly paychecks. Health benefits packages available. Free therapy resources available in our EMR system. Clinician is able to make their own schedule and take on as many or as few cases as desired. TSSLD if taking school based cases . Options to choose preferred locations / populations / part time hours / full time hours Rates vary by case type, location, and clinical experience, but I offer competitive rates. Will consider both PT and FT candidates to fill current open contracts in variety of settings. We currently treat birth through geriatrics in home-based, ALF, SNF, clinic, and school-based settings. We accept medically fragile patients.

Responsibilities:

Make an onsite visit or see patients via telehealth. Great job for a clinician looking to treat through the lifespan who doesn't want to commit to a population or diagnosis to treat. Can accommodate preferred population if desired. Our practice treats infants through adults, medically complex, and developmentally delayed or disordered. We have contracts with ALFs, schools, multidisciplinary clinics, SNFs, and provide homecare services. As we continue to grow, we need more hands! Evaluate and educate patients about the purpose of a speech therapy session and the type of treatment that will be administered. Counsel and support families as needed for carryover of recommendations with patient consent. Document evaluation and each treatment session with daily note on our EMR system. We get your authorizations and send your faxes within our office so you don't have to! Typically complete 30 min sessions. Examine patient's medical records and update plan of care. Evaluate for disorder and follow up via speech therapy treatment as indicated. Maintain patient records.
