Job Description

Overview Little Leaps & Sounds, LLC is seeking licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to provide preschool special education (CPSE) services throughout Rockland County, NY. This is a flexible 1099 independent contractor opportunity for clinicians who want meaningful pediatric work with the freedom to build a caseload that fits their schedule. Contractors may accept cases based on their availability, preferred geographic area, and desired caseload. Why Work With Little Leaps & Sounds? $86 per hour of direct service Flexible scheduling No minimum caseload requirement Choose cases based on your availability and preferred geographic area Opportunity to increase your caseload as desired and as referrals become available Support from a fellow speech-language pathologist who understands the work Services are provided in children's natural environments, including homes, preschools/daycares, and community settings throughout Rockland County. What You'll Do Provide individualized speech-language therapy to preschool-aged children in accordance with each child's IEP Address speech, language, communication, and related developmental goals within your scope of practice Maintain required session notes and documentation Communicate professionally with families and other members of the child's educational team as appropriate Maintain all required professional credentials and County documentation What We're Looking For Current New York State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Current professional liability insurance At least one year of experience working with pediatric populations; Clinical Fellowship experience may count toward this requirement Reliable transportation for community-based services Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills A warm, collaborative, child-centered approach Compensation & Scheduling $86 per hour of direct service Most CPSE sessions are 30 minutes; compensation is prorated based on session length. Founded by a local speech-language pathologist, we intentionally keep our approach personal and collaborative. Contractors have direct communication with the agency owner, professional autonomy, and the flexibility to build a caseload that works for them.
