Category Schools - SLP - Telespeech Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist skilled in telespeech and teletherapy to support students with speech, language, and communication needs. This role requires expertise in school-based speech therapy and a commitment to enhancing student outcomes through remote service delivery. The position is located in New Hartford, NY, with specific services provided in Herkimer, NY. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating students from September 8 through June 26, applying evidence-based practices tailored to individual communication challenges. The role demands the ability to implement effective teletherapy strategies that accommodate diverse learning environments while maintaining compliance with state regulations and school policies. Qualifications for this position are as follows: Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Demonstrated experience in telespeech and teletherapy within school settings Strong assessment and treatment planning skills for pediatric speech and language disorders Ability to work collaboratively with educational staff and families to support student progress Benefits of this contract position include the opportunity to gain valuable experience in telepractice within educational environments and contribute to the communication development of school-aged children.
