Key Qualifications:

Current NYS Teaching certification required Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Previous experience in school-based or pediatric SLP preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Ability to work onsite five days per week (not open to part-time)

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain timely and accurate records of therapy sessions and student performance Communicate effectively with caregivers and participate in IEP meetings Implement interventions tailored to students' needs in receptive, expressive, and pragmatic language skills
