Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant elementary school setting near Newburgh, NY. Key Qualifications:
Valid New York SLP License TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) certification ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) Prior experience in a school environment preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver five, 30-minute speech therapy sessions each week to one elementary student Develop individualized treatment plans to address specific speech and language needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes Participate in remote panel interviews and complete required onboarding processes, including district-specific requirements This contract offers a flexible commitment of approximately 5 hours per week, running from ASAP through June 2027a perfect fit for someone seeking to make a focused impact or supplement existing caseloads.
