Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding full-time opportunity this summer as a Speech-Language Pathologist working in an engaging K-12 school environment near Owego, NY. This contract position allows you to make a meaningful impact over the summer term, with real potential to extend into a full-time school year assignment based on performance and fit. Experience a collaborative atmosphere, including onsite support from a dedicated facilitator who will assist you with in-person tasks throughout your assignment.
What We're Seeking:
Current Speech-Language Pathology license and
ASHA CCC
credentials Experience in school-based settings with diverse student populations (K-12) Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and staff Ability to develop and implement IEP goals tailored to individual student needs Flexibility and adaptability to work with a multi-disciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities and develop customized therapy plans Deliver direct and consultative services to students in classrooms and individual sessions Document progress and participate in IEP meetings with accuracy and professionalism Provide guidance and strategies to teachers and families, supporting student growth and success Collaborate daily with the onsite facilitator, utilizing their support for hands-on activities and smooth session management Highlights of the
