A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Compensation $175-$215 per evaluation Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Evaluator to join our team in Plainview, New York. As an SLP Evaluator with All About Kids, Inc., you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions to assess and address communication disorders in children. Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify communication disorders in children Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address speech, language, and cognitive deficits Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and family involvement Maintain accurate and detailed records of evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions Stay up-to-date with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in speech-language pathology
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program New York State licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Valid teaching certificate in either: Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) Teacher of Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) Minimum of 2 years of experience working with pediatric populations Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology assessment and treatment techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks Join Our Team!
