Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role where your skills in speech-language pathology can make a meaningful difference in young lives. This position offers a dynamic, contract-based opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to support K-12 students for the remainder of the school year. Working full-time, you'll collaborate closely with educators and families to develop and implement customized speech and language interventions.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required) Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome to apply Experience with K-12 student populations preferred Ability to adapt therapy methods to suit diverse learning needs Strong communication and collaboration skills Organizational proficiency in managing caseloads and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Deliver individual and group therapy services within a school setting Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for those requiring support Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to advance students' communication skills Maintain thorough and timely progress documentation and reporting Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings to provide holistic support Offer guidance and resources to staff and family members regarding speech/language development
