9668994-12144 Job Description Exciting opportunity available for a Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about supporting young learners in a welcoming school environment. This contract position runs from as soon as possible through June 25th, providing services primarily to K-5 students. With a manageable, small caseload, youll be able to focus on impactful, individualized interventions and contribute meaningfully alongside a collaborative teamthere are two other SLPs in the district ready to support you. Your schedule will include full-time hours with a split assignment: six FTE (full-time equivalent) at one school, and a small .4 FTE allocation at another, ensuring variety in your daily routine while maintaining continuity with your students. Summer school work could become available, although this is not guaranteed.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current CCC-SLP or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience in school settings preferred, with strong skills working with elementary (K-5) students Ability to manage a compact caseload with compassion and expertise Excellent communication and organizational abilities Flexibility and eagerness to collaborate with school staff and families

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language assessments for K-5 students Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Deliver direct therapy, monitor progress, and document results Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other SLPs to ensure comprehensive student support Participate in IEP and team meetings as needed This position lets you make a true difference in a school community that values specialized expertise and teamwork.
