Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

At 3 Circles Therapy we are currently looking for both a physical and speech therapist to provide pediatric therapy services to children 0-5 years of age. Services are to be delivered in the child's natural setting which may include home, daycare, nursery school, pre-k, or head start. Location of service for the speech therapist/pathologist is needed in all counties we serve which include Madison, Oneida, Oswego, and Chenango counties. The current need for our physical therapist opening would be in the Rome and VVS school districts and points nearby. Although part-time employment is also available at 3 Circles Therapy, we are looking to fill the above full-time openings. New graduates with a valid NYS license are urged to apply! Job responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of children with various diagnosis and conditions. The successful candidate will have the autonomy of making their own schedule. The successful candidate needs to possess excellent communication skills with other professionals and parents and have strong time management skills. A good working vehicle and desire to drive in CNY weather conditions is a must. For your hard work and dedication we provide a competitive salary with benefits.
