Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Flexible scheduling options—including both full-time and part-time roles—make this an ideal fit for clinicians with varying availability. Engage with a diverse caseload spanning PreK through 12th grade, including students with severe needs, functional communication challenges, and those using AAC devices. Residential facility hours ensure focused after-school support from 2:30 to 5:00 pm. Starting as soon as possible, the assignment covers both the school year and summer session, allowing you to maximize your impact in a supportive, collaborative setting.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology ASHA certification (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Active SLP license in New York, or willingness to obtain Previous school-based experience is a plus, though not required

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students Complete comprehensive assessments and evaluations Develop, document, and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals Coordinate care and services with teachers, staff, and families Support students with severe needs, including those using AAC devices
