May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active NY SLP license Current TSHH or
TSSLD - DOE
certification SLP-CCC required School experience preferred
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy to students (caseload approximately 40-50) Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress Develop and implement IEPs in accordance with school and state requirements Track progress and maintain accurate documentation Foster a supportive, inclusive environment for all students
