9668994-12180 Job Description Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary students in a collaborative school environment. This contract position runs from as soon as youre available through June 25th, with the possibilitythough not a guaranteeof extending into summer school. Youll work alongside two other dedicated SLPs, covering primarily K-5 students. The caseload is intentionally small, allowing you to make a meaningful and focused impact. This position features a split assignment: 6 FTE assigned to one location, and 0.4 FTE at another. Both are easily managed, ensuring youll have variety in your week without feeling overwhelmed. Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current or eligible New York State SLP license CCC-SLP credential or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience working with K-5 students preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with peers and school teams Strong written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students Assess, create, and implement individualized education plans Collaborate with fellow SLPs, teachers, and staff to optimize student progress Maintain accurate records and fulfill compliance requirements Engage in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations for student growth Travel between two schools as assigned (primary workload in one) This is an ideal role for SLPs seeking a supportive setting, small caseload, and the chance to shape young learners communication skills.
