Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Trumansburg, NY, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade during the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position offers the chance to deliver impactful speech and language services within a collaborative school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student Provide direct therapy sessions addressing speech and language goals Collaborate closely with teachers and school personnel to ensure effective accommodations and modifications Monitor student progress regularly and adapt interventions as needed Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist in establishing student goals Offer guidance and resources to parents and caregivers to support student development
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure Experience with school-aged children is preferred Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team Familiarity with IEP processes and education-related legal requirements
