e2036-10605 Job Description Step into a meaningful contract position for the 20262027 school year, providing support and therapeutic services to students across grades K12. You'll have the opportunity to tailor your caseload, working with students who present with a variety of communication needs, from moderate to profound. The focus is on making a genuine difference in their education and development. The district is welcoming to both local and travel professionals interested in collaborating with a skilled multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications and Skills:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (New York) Experience in pediatric therapy and school-based settings Background with Early Childhood, Elementary, or Pediatric caseloads preferred Familiarity with IEP development and progress reporting Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach Ability to adapt to varying student abilities and tailor interventions accordingly
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K12 students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate records and documentation per district and regulatory standards Attend multidisciplinary meetings as required Support classroom integration and provide strategies for classroom communication success Those in this role enjoy competitive weekly pay, with hourly compensation between $40 and $60, based on experience.
