In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat children in early intervention and preschool with special needs, Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals. Provide direct therapy services through in-person sessions at our school, utilizing evidence-based practices. Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care and effective communication strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries Educate patients and their families on speech and language disorders, therapy techniques, and home practice strategies to reinforce progress. Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology by participating in ongoing professional development and training opportunities. Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (e.g., ASHA CCC-SLP or equivalent). Experience working with children in pediatric settings such as schools or early intervention programs is highly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in speech therapy, language therapy, early intervention, and working with individuals with disabilities. Proven ability to perform comprehensive speech and language assessments for diverse populations.
