9685315-43311 Job Description Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an engaging, school-based setting located near Sidney, Ohio. This contract position is currently part-time with the strong possibility of expanding to full-time hours, as compensatory services may be needed for additional student support. The assignment begins as soon as possible and is projected to run through January, with a high likelihood of extension through the end of the academic year. Youll play a key role in enhancing communication skills for a diverse pediatric caseload, working collaboratively with educators and families. Whether youre a seasoned SLP-CCC, a new CF looking for dynamic experience, or seeking to travel and grow professionally, this position welcomes all levels of expertise.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Ohio SLP license required (or eligibility to obtain) Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and experienced SLP-CCCs are both encouraged to apply Experience or interest in working within pediatric and school-based settings Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality speech-language therapy services for students across various grade levels Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized plans to address speech, language, and communication needs Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate records and progress reports, adhering to school and state guidelines Engage with families and educators to support student development and carryover of skills
