Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful, impactful role for the upcoming academic year as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) where your expertise will foster growth and communication success in a school-based setting near Canfield, OH. This contract opportunity spans from August 24 through June 6 and features a blend of in-person and hybrid work, supporting work-life balance and professional enrichment.

Key Qualifications:

Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Active state licensure as an SLP in Ohio or eligibility to obtain prior to the start date Previous experience in school settings is highly desirable Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit Ability to provide assessment, therapy, and documentation in accordance with educational compliance standards

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language therapy services to students in alignment with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation Adapt interventions for a diverse caseload, with caseload size and age group to be determined closer to assignment Work across multiple school sites, final assignments to be confirmed Deliver in-person therapy four days each week and enjoy flexibility with a fifth hybrid day—choose the day that fits best with your work style and schedule Benefits include a structured school calendar, a supportive multidisciplinary team, and professional growth opportunities.
