Make a significant impact supporting junior high students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a full-time contract assignment running from now through October 6, 2026. Key Qualifications:
Active Ohio SLP license is required Previous school-based experience or a strong desire to work within a junior high school setting Familiarity with IEP development and implementation Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and other related service providers Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop intervention plans for a diverse student population Comfort conducting therapy sessions both individually and in small groups
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy to junior high students, addressing articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication needs Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support academic success and foster an inclusive educational environment Develop, update, and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines Participate in meetings and provide input on student progress and needs Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of services and student progress Serve as a resource for staff and families to support effective communication strategies
