Ideal Background and Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state SLP license and credentials required for working in schools Previous school-based SLP experience preferred Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, school staff, and families Creative, compassionate, and dedicated to fostering student success

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct screenings, assessments, and individualized evaluations for students Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) targeting students speech/language needs Provide direct therapy services as well as consultation for staff and families Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress reports according to school policy Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and school-wide initiatives Offer guidance and resources to educators to promote effective communication strategies in the classroom This assignment promises a supportive school community, opportunities for professional growth, and an environment where your expertise truly matters.
