This contract position involves stepping in as the primary SLP for two students who require in-person support at a learning program designed for individualized educational needs. Your expertise will help empower these students, fostering communication skills fundamental to their academic and personal growth.

Desired Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Valid state licensure (Ohio) Previous school-based experience preferred, especially with individualized service plans Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Compassionate, flexible, and enthusiastic about student-centered therapy

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech-language therapy to two students on a consistent, scheduled basis (

Student A:

80 minutes/month;

Student B:

200 minutes/month with two 25-minute sessions per week) Collaborate with educators and families to tailor therapy to each students unique needs and goals Assess, document, and monitor progress through comprehensive notes and required reporting Attend any necessary meetings to ensure continuity of care and compliance with educational guidelines Adapt therapy materials and approaches to suit students age and abilities Days and times for therapy are flexible, allowing you to build a schedule that fits your availability while still meeting student needs.
