Key Skills & Experience:
Current or in-progress Speech-Language Pathology license required (SLP-CCC or eligible CFY candidates encouraged to apply) Experience in school-based settings, especially with K-7 age groups Comfort working in a self-contained classroom model Knowledge or hands-on experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices strongly preferred Excellent communication, flexibility, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in a self-contained classroom Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs, including articulation, language, voice, and fluency disorders Integrate AAC devices and technology into therapy and daily classroom routines as appropriate Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and other service providers to support student progress Maintain timely documentation aligned with school and state requirements Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and ongoing professional growth opportunities This contract position features a stable schedule of 30 hours per week, ideal for professionals wishing to balance meaningful work with other commitments.
