Desired Background and Skills:

Hold or be eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or have completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY); supervision provided for CFY candidates Experience supporting pediatric and/or school-age populations Strong ability to assess, plan, and implement speech and language interventions for students across a range of needs and abilities Comfortable working independently in a self-contained classroom and collaborating with educators and related service providers Familiarity with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices is highly valued

Role Responsibilities:

Conduct screenings, evaluations, and therapy for students in grades K-7 in a self-contained class environment Develop and monitor tailored speech and language therapy plans aligned with IEP goals Implement evidence-based interventions, including the use of AAC devices for students with complex communication needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to foster communication development Maintain timely and thorough documentation, progress monitoring, and communication with the supervising SLP (as applicable) Embrace the opportunity to contribute to the success of school-aged children while growing your expertise in a supportive environment.
