Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, working with a dynamic Pre-K caseload for the 2026-2027 academic year. This opportunity is designed for professionals who thrive in early intervention and are dedicated to supporting the communication development of young learners in an engaging educational environment. With 37.5 hours per week, you'll have the chance to foster meaningful growth alongside a committed team of educators.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure as required for school-based practice Previous experience working with pre-kindergarten or early childhood populations Strong collaborative, communication, and organizational skills Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to Pre-K students Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and participate in student evaluations Support students' social, academic, and communication development within the classroom setting Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to create individualized education programs Maintain thorough and timely documentation of progress, services, and required reports Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current in best practices Build impactful relationships with families and staff while promoting communication skills that set a foundation for lifelong learning.
