9578212-43560 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working 30 hours per week in a supportive, collaborative setting serving K-7 students in a self-contained classroom. We're looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist who brings experience and passion for working in schools. Whether you're an
SLP-CCC, SLP
with pediatric specialties, or a motivated SLP-CFY hoping to secure vital supervision hours, your expertise will be valued here. The ideal candidate has familiarity with AAC devices, ensuring all students can access communication in creative and meaningful ways.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current SLP license (or eligibility) for practice in the school setting SLP-CCC, strong pediatric/educational background, or SLP-CFY welcome to apply Confidence supporting a caseload of K-7 students in a self-contained classroom Knowledge or experience with AAC devices strongly preferred Collaborative spirit to work effectively with staff, teachers, and families Organizational skills to manage IEPs, progress notes, and treatment records
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and deliver individualized speech and language therapy for students in grades K-7 Develop goals, create and deliver IEP-driven interventions, and document student progress Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and paraprofessionals Incorporate AAC devices and technology in therapy as appropriate Support communication and social skills in a classroom environment In this role, you'll enjoy a welcoming school culture, mentorship from an on-staff supervising SLP if pursuing your CFY, and the chance to be a strong voice in your students growth and success.
