What they do

A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

CURRENT OPENINGS
Full-Time Pediatric SLP position open in Lucas County working in a public school setting. August start date preferable. Full-Time Pediatric SLP position open in Fulton County serving children under the age of 3 years. Part or Full-Time Pediatric SLP position in Lucas County working in a charter school setting. 2 days per week (short-term need) Pediatric SLP position open in Wood County working in a public school setting covering for a maternity leave. Dates are from October 6-December 18.
  • Short-term placement bonus available.

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Ohio license in Speech-Language Pathology

Toledo Pediatric Speech Therapy (TPST) is a local, SLP owned , growing private speech and language therapy practice serving Northwest Ohio. We specialize in the evaluation and treatment of pediatric speech sound disorders, language disorders, social skills, and more. TPST provides private outpatient pediatric services as well as school based speech-language pathology contracted services. We provide a full-service supervision and mentoring of our therapists, including a highly supportive CF experience to help you grow your clinical skills. Our team values supporting one another to ensure each SLP continues to perform at the TOP of our licensure by using current best practices, feels confident and professional in all aspects of patient care, and experiences a functional and enjoyable work-life balance.
