Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - SLP Job Type Travel Situated in the welcoming community of Waverly, OH, this travel assignment offers a unique opportunity to combine professional growth with the adventure of exploring a new region. Waverly is known for its scenic charm and access to outdoor recreation, providing the perfect setting for a rewarding career experience and enriching downtime activities. This position offers valuable exposure to both outpatient and acute inpatient care, allowing you to deepen your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) across a diverse patient population—including pediatrics, adult neuro, and those with dysphagia. You'll have the chance to collaborate closely with a skilled multidisciplinary team, engaging in co-treatment opportunities when clinically appropriate. Schedule:
4-day schedule: 4x9s, totaling 36 hours/week Most likely Tuesdays through Fridays (subject to operational needs)
Your Key Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive speech-language evaluations and treatment for a full range of patients, from children to adults Provide specialized care to pediatric clients, adult neurological cases, and individuals with dysphagia Collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team, including co-treatments with other therapy professionals Document sessions and progress clearly and accurately Participate in ongoing professional development as part of a dynamic clinical team
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of SLP experience in a hospital therapy setting Direct experience with pediatric patients required Valid SLP license in Ohio and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Strong communication and collaborative skills Willingness to reside outside a 60-mile radius from
