Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students in grades K-8 for the remainder of the school year. Provide essential speech-language pathology services on a part-time, contract basis in a supportive educational environment. You'll work with a manageable caseload of 18 students, totaling approximately 2,700 minutes of direct and consultative services each quarter, and enjoy a flexible schedule not exceeding 20 hours per week. What we're seeking: Current license or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Ohio Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience with pediatric populations, specifically within educational settings Strong background in school-based SLP services and documentation Ability to effectively manage a varied caseload of K-8 students with diverse needs Solid communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to begin as soon as possible and commit through the end of the school year What you'll do: Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and direct intervention for students in K-8 Develop treatment plans and individualized education program (IEP) goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain clear documentation and progress reports as required by the district Address articulation, language, and communication challenges as appropriate Participate in team meetings and IEP conferences, offering expertise and guidance This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on young learners while maintaining a balanced, flexible schedule.
