Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract An exciting contract opportunity is available for a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to provide essential coverage during a maternity leave, supporting junior high students. Located near Westerville, OH, this full-time, on-site position offers a rewarding chance to work within a dynamic educational environment and make a significant impact on students' communication skills.
Key Qualifications:
Valid and active SLP-CCC licensure for Ohio is required Previous experience working within a school setting Expertise supporting junior high school students appreciated Strong communication and collaborative skills Professionalism and adaptability in a school environment Ability to begin as soon as possible and commit through October 6, 2026
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group speech and language services to junior high students Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and parents to ensure student success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to students' educational planning Monitor progress, adapt interventions, and support generalization of skills in the school setting Remain up to date with best practices and compliance standards for school-based SLPs Engage in a highly supportive atmosphere where your skills will contribute to students' growth during this meaningful temporary role.
