Job Description

Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC , a Chenega Professional Services' company, is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist in support of the Lawton Indian Hospital to provide speech therapy services. Responsibilities Assess and diagnose:
Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify disorders such as articulation problems, aphasia, stuttering, and swallowing difficulties (dysphagia).
Develop treatment plans:
Create and carry out personalized therapy plans with specific, measurable goals to address individual functional needs.
Provide therapy:
Teach clients how to make sounds, improve voice quality, maintain fluency, and develop communication strategies. This includes using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for those with severe challenges.
Educate and support:
Teach patients and their families about their condition and provide counseling, training, and support.
Collaborate:
Work with other professionals, such as physicians, teachers, and other therapists, to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach.
Maintain records:
Keep detailed, accurate records of patient progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information. Records shall be completed within 24 hours of patient visit. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology from a program accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA). Completed a clinical fellowship. Passed the Praxis exam Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) certification.
