Tuesday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., 44 weeks/year Position Overview The Mobile Classroom Therapist provides therapy services within Little Light House's Mobile Classroom while supporting other Programs Training initiatives. This position works as part of a transdisciplinary team to provide individualized, neuro-affirming care for children with special needs and to equip families with strategies they can use at home. In addition to direct therapy, the Mobile Classroom Therapist assists with curriculum development, staff and community training, educational content creation, and the continued growth of Little Light House programs. The Mobile Classroom Therapist understands and embraces that they are part of Little Light House, a Christian ministry with Biblical core values whose mission is to glorify God by improving the quality of life for children with special needs, their families, and communities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Mobile Classroom Services Provide therapy services during Mobile Classroom sessions using a transdisciplinary approach. Collaborate with teachers and therapists to plan engaging classroom activities that support each child's developmental goals. Prepare and lead therapeutic activities that align with the weekly curriculum. Support children and coach parents during classroom sessions. Model therapy strategies for caregivers and volunteers. Assist with classroom setup and organization. Communicate with families through Brightwheel regarding student progress and home strategies. Consult with the team regarding behavioral, developmental, sensory, communication, or motor concerns. Program Development Assist with developing and updating therapy curriculum, lesson plans, and educational resources. Support the development of new programs and learning materials. Help create family resources and therapy activities. Training Community Engagement Assist in developing LLH Academy courses and other educational content. Provide training for staff, volunteers, churches, and community organizations as needed. Contribute to blogs, presentations, podcasts, and other educational resources. Represent Little Light House at community events, workshops, and conferences. Team Collaboration Work collaboratively as a member of the transdisciplinary team. Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and strong organizational skills. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions. Support the mission and growth of Little Light House Programs Training. Supervision Reports to the Sr. Director of Programs Training . Works closely with the Director of Curriculum Instruction and collaborates with teachers, therapists, volunteers, and other staff. Qualifications Skills Required Current Oklahoma license as an Occupational Therapist (OT), Physical Therapist (PT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) . Current CPR certification. At least one year of experience working with children with special needs (birth through age six preferred). Experience working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Demonstrates a neuro-affirming, child-centered approach to therapy. Current on required continuing education and committed to ongoing professional development. Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate the Mobile Classroom vehicle and trailer. Strong communication, organization, and time management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Confidence teaching and supporting families, staff, and volunteers. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
