9685809-97520 Job Description Make a significant difference in the lives of young learners as a Bilingual SLP supporting approximately 55 students from Kindergarten through third grade. This contract opportunity can accommodate both full-time and part-time availability, offering the chance to work closely with a diverse student population and contribute to a collaborative educational environment. Bilingual professionals, especially those fluent in Spanish, are highly valued for this important role, which also allows consideration for virtual (VOCO) service delivery.
Qualifications:
Current Speech-Language Pathologist license Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience in school-based or pediatric healthcare settings Proficiency in Spanish for effective communication and bilingual evaluations Previous work with Kindergarten through third-grade students preferred Ability to interpret IEP meetings for grades K5 Strong collaboration and organizational skills Comfortable providing direct therapy in person or virtually
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to K3 students Conduct bilingual evaluations to assess students communication needs Facilitate IEP meetings as an interpreter for students in grades K5 Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress Implement evidence-based interventions tailored to diverse learners Adapt therapy methods to virtual formats if providing services remotely
