Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing Speech-Language Pathology services for the 2026/2027 school year in the Eugene, OR area. As part of a dynamic Special Education Service Area, you'll collaborate with professionals serving students with a wide range of needs—including moderate to severe disabilities, emotional and behavioral challenges, and those requiring augmentative communication supports. Assignments and exact locations will be determined as the new school year approaches, making this ideal for adaptable SLPs eager to expand their skills and make a broad impact. Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Several years of relevant professional experience Oregon teaching license with a Speech Impaired or Communications Disorder Endorsement and/or State of Oregon SLP License ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred Prior work with students with moderate and severe disabilities valued Familiarity with a variety of augmentative communication systems (low and high tech) Valid Oregon driver's license Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and staff High level of confidentiality and professionalism First Aid/CPR certification may be required
